Intumescent FireSeal
Intumescent FireSeal are use in fire door assemblies to control the spread of fire through buildings. The graphite-based intumescent compound in a PVC casings is unaffected by water or moisture in the air. The seals are rebated into the door's head and jambs.
The Fire Seal are tested to BS476 & SS332.
FireSeal are supplied in standard lengths of 1. 05m and 2. 1m (with or without tape).
FireStop Compound
A lightweight pre-mixed gypsum based firestop compound in white dry powder form tested to BS476 Pt20:1987, readily mixed with water on site to produce a plaster like material for seal around services penetrations. It is used to provide a fire rated seal around service penetrations in fire rated walls and floors. Penetration services include steel pipe, cables, cable tray and trunking.
Intumescent Sealant
A one part halogen free emulsion acrylic sealant provided for gap sealing between pipe to wall/slab/pipe sleeves tested to BS476 Pt 20: 1987. It will not crack or split upon curing, have good adhesion to wide variety of building material, high modulus, tack free upon curing and can be over painted. It will swell and form an insulating fire resistant char when subject to heat or fire.
